Things that went wrong from midnight until 4pm:

- I got about three hours of sleep.
- I hit snooze until there was no time left to take the dog out AND take a shower. So no shower.
- I forgot to bring poopie bags on my walk.
- My socks had a hole and my big toe got cranky about it.
- Charlie jumped on the bed soaking wet and dirty.
- I haven’t got Luca Toni in my Panini stickers yet. Nor have I got any Swiss players. Just Ballack. Twice. And he’s probably my least favourite German player. Go Klose and Schweini!

Things that went right from midnight until 4pm:

- My mom brought me Wähe for lunch. I don’t even know how to explain it. Something like a fruit pizza, heh.
- I caught up on some sleep after not getting any last night. Any sleep, I mean.

- The Panini stickers and albums for Euro 2008 arrived this morning. SUCK IT SUCKAZ, IT’S ON! (Yes, I’m happy about it, about the whole Euro. I know some people aren’t, but I am. It’s once in a lifetime that we get to experience something like it.)

Oh oh oh, there I was just thinking if Brit Brit hasn’t been on Will & Grace, and there she is! And oh oh OH, Wanda Sykes in the next scene. Maybe season 8 wasn’t so bad after all. Bwah.

“Yes, Lurch.”

Ahaha. Oh god, I love that show. Must find some better seeds for the other seasons.

*hours later*

Okay, I’ve totally finished watching season 8. What a stupid finale.

Next is Cold Case season 4. Well. After I’ve watched the last two episodes of TLW. WAY TO FUCK ME OVER AND MAKE SUCH SHORT SEASONS!

Oh god, my head is screaming *mangoicecreammangoicecreammangoicecream*

. Stupid head.

Easter was nice, but too short. I just lazed around Saturday, Sunday, and a good part of today, ecxept I went to Easter dinner at my parents’ yesterday and I did some cleaning today. Oh, and I made a real dinner. I’m impressed with myself.

Hey, did you know that Easter isn’t until April in Romania? I think it’s because they’re special. And vampires. And I’m getting bitten by a Romanian next time I see her. Which she’ll probably avoid for eternity now, ha.

*a bit later*

Okay. Mango ice cream accioed, now going to watch TLW. As someone said. Oh. My. God. Bette. Do. Me. Now.

Okay, weird. A mobile phone browser just kind of sucks to post LJ entries. But it’s the only option I have at the moment, because see… I took McDreamy to the Mac clinic yesterday, and the guy told me that a new screen would cost more than a new MacBook. Okay, fine, I still have my god awful Vista monster. Or so I thought, because back home, the Vista monster BLEW SPARKS! I swear. I borrowed my sister’s power cord to see if it was just that, but nope, Vista monster is fried. Serves it right. And me too for buying it. So I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but I guess I will fork out money for yet another computer?

Today has been so good. (: The weather was gorgeous, and I went on a long walk with Charlie, and I was not wearing a jacket the whole time, even in the forest. So pretty. And he behaved so well, even though we met lots of bikers and hikers and people who were just walking. Some of them even thanked me when I made him sit until they had passed. I totally understand that some people are scared of dogs, but usually, people who know that their dog is aggressive, they shouldn’t let him run free? Common sense? And since my dog runs towards anything that moves and especially loves other dogs and people, I made him sit so he couldn’t, because some people don’t like it, even though he just wants to say hi, and yeah, whoa, I’m so not eloquent today, heh.

I went right to my parents’ after the walk, and we sat out in the sun. Then we had dinner, watched football (Bayern, LUCA TONI, hehe), watched an Oscar special, and looked at really old photographs of my mom’s side of the family. My sister and I are going to blow some of them up and put them on our walls, because old photos are just so beautiful.

I’ve also decided that I need a new cellphone. Someone will probably say I just got one when they were with me, but I can’t help it if my dog likes to destroy things. Okay, I can help it, but he did it anyway. I think I’m going to turn my prepaid into a contract, because some contracts are really cheap right now, and I would pay less than I do now, and I’d get a free or at least cheaper phone. I’ve my eyes set on either the Nokia 5310 (aka. Music Nokia) or the LG Shine. If they offer it to me for a really good price, maybe an LG Prada (aka. omg Manu is a snob). I will probably opt to get a new number, because I’ve had mine for so long, and so many people that I don’t really want to have it still do. I’m kind of leaning towards the Nokia at the moment, because Nokias have always been good to me, plus, I’ve kind of had enough of sliding and folding phones.

I want it now. Heh. Maybe I’ll go to the Swisscom shop tomorrow. Except I might be too tired, because…

…I think I’m going to watch the Oscars tonight. I mean, come on, they are the Oscars! And I haven’t done a red carpet live blog in a long time, and I always had so much fun doing them. I could just stay in bed, watch them on my laptop (zattoo.ch, free TV on your computer, mostly German, Swiss, Austrian and Italian channels) and if I fall asleep, I’ll fall asleep. But that means I should get some sleep just about now. At 8:30pm. Lulz.

Did I mention that today has been a good day? (:

I bought a new moisturizer yesterday, and as I applied it, I was instantly taken back to my times as a die-hard X-Phile. No, it’s true, and I swear it makes sense. To me.

The product I bought is this one, by Garnier. I tried to make up my mind between a Nivea product and a Garnier, and when I asked my sister which one I should take, she said “I like both, but the Garnier is so nice and green”, so that was settled. I always rely on my sister and on the colour green. But just in case someone from Garnier is reading, I totally love the products, and I would totally endorse them on my widely-popular blog. See? Garnier rules my world!

I digress.

The reason why it reminds me of the X-Files is the following. Sometime in 1996 or 1997 or so, I was a huge  fan. I went pretty far with it, and having used the internet only to go through millions of pictures of Gillian Anderson and not knowing about forums or fics or anything similar, I relied heavily on magazines and books and video tapes. Yes, video tapes. Get that. I had folders with thousands of pictures and articles. I might have had an X-Shrine as well…

One day, me and my best friend went shopping at a big department store about half an hour from where we lived. Our parents were all on vacation, so we felt responsible to stock up on the things we needed for those two weeks. You know, like beer, chips, ice cream. As well as those things, I bought an X-Files book and a new deodorant, I think it was by Impulse. From that moment on - probably because I had the habit to test out deodorants instore (sprays, not roll-ons, come on), the two items were forever one in my subconscious memory. I have not wasted another thought on this weird connection since the deodorant ran out, until…

… I applied the moisturizer, and it smelled like the deodorant, and a million tiny little fireworks went off in my head, screaming *Akte X, omg!* Yes, because Akte X was the German title for the X-Files.

Funny how just when we think we only have one brain cell left, and it’s busy being annoyed with our landlord’s awful taste in music, another one pops up and says “Akte X”.
