I’m moving in three months, and while that is still a (long) while to go, I already know exactly where I am going to put what and how and anyway. I am really looking forward to it. The livingroom in the new house will be about the size of my current livingroom, diningroom and bedroom combined, and much brighter. I will have three bedrooms, one of which will be my library/office and another one will be Charlie’s room. Yes, my dog is a tad spoiled, but I’ve learned my lesson with my current apartment. The kitchen, livingroom and dining room in it are all open, and I have nowhere to leave him when I go somewhere, so it’s always a game of “I wonder what will be broken or ripped when I get back?”, and that’s so not nice. So I’m looking forward to having a whole room for him to stay in when he’s by himself. Maybe I’ll put some hot bitches on the walls for him.

I’m happy to know that I’m getting along really well with all the other living beings in the new building. Mostly because the only other human being living there is my sister, and that’s just really cool. Her house and my future house are attached, so while they are in the same building, they are still separate, with separate entrances and no way to get from one to the other except by using the front doors. Basically, there are three floors in the house, four if you include the attic. My sister has the ground floor and the second floor (third if you’re North American) and I will have the second (third for NAs) and third (fourth, etc.) floors. That probably sounds really confusing, but they are old houses, and the way they built in the past, they are kind of intertwinded, so in my future library, if you open the closet, you can actually see the bottom side of my sister’s stairs. It’s fun.

And somehow, we’ll get her cats and my dog accquainted as well.
I hope.
My dog loves cats. He would run far after for them.

She does have one outlaw cat though, and since my dog used to be an outlaw as well, they might just get along. Elvis and Charlie.

So anyway, I will be so relieved when I am done with my current place and have moved in above the crazy cat lady. I’m not on good terms with my current landlord (anymore), and there is nothing that sucks quite as much as going home when you don’t feel at home.

Except going home to Tom Cruise, perhaps.
